Alexx Antaeus

Alexx Antaeus is an award-winning composer/recording artist/producer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Industry. He is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the governing party for the GRAMMY awards. Antaeus has been involved in recording, remixing, or producing for a diverse selection of artists such as Young M.C., Falco, Lonnie Gordon, Malcolm McLaren, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, The Rolling Stones, The Boys, Herbert Gronemeyer, and Earth, Wind & Fire. For his work, he has earned several gold and platinum plaques. In the past, he has been a Billboard Reporter and a panelist for the New Music Seminar (New York) and the Winter Music Conference (Miami).

Antaeus’ personal albums include Byzantine Meditation, World Prayer, and zero4. His tracks have been used for TV commercials and compilations like Buddha Bar VIII.

Antaeus heads Monom Records with offices and studios in Manhattan, New York and Kingston, Jamaica. His latest project is Alexx Antaeus presents the RIDDIM TRAVELERS (scheduled for a mid-2019 release). RIDDIM TRAVELERS is a collective of upcoming and established artists voyaging over rhythms that take you around the world and beyond. It’s an EDM project with heavy reggae, dancehall and reggaeton influences. The first single, GET HOT, featuring Grammy-nominated Jamaican artist Devin Di Dakta was released earlier this year. REWIND, the follow-up single is scheduled for a November 2 release. It’s an ELECTRIC collab between Atlanta-based soulstress Cherae and Jamaican singjay Dutchess.
