REGIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETINGS

Regional meetings are held in various markets to galvanize support and increase interest in the annual conference in Jamaica. Markets for these events include: New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta, Miami and Kingston.  For more information about the stakeholder meeting closest to you, email us.

About

The Jamaica Music Conference (JMC) is the preeminent annual conference for industry education, networking and collaboration in Jamaica.

JMC’s mission is to provide a platform for independent music professionals to discuss challenges, opportunities and solutions in the music industry.

Gearing up for its 6th staging, JMC brings an industry invested in and/or enamored with the sounds and culture of Jamaica to its shores for authentic cross-pollination experiences. The 4-day intensive encompasses community service opportunities, authentic nightlife, fun in the sun across Kingston and, most importantly, an information exchange between the who’s who of reggae and mainstream music entertainment, and up and coming talent.

This year's conference theme is "Constructive Conversations: Dialogue. Decisions. Development."

AUDIENCE

For the last 5 years, the JMC has attracted the participation of iconic, as well as up an coming artists, producers, writers, musicians, promoters, radio presenters, music journalists, sound system/DJs, managers, booking agents and many other industry practitioners from the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean region. JMC 2018 will attract approximately 700-900* attendees, ages 18 to 65.

REACH

The JMC, our partners and network of promo and press support includes TV, radio and print media platforms in Jamaica, USA, Canada and UK, with collectively over 20 million in monthly outreach*.

THE SMART OPPORTUNITY

Capacity building funding is untapped and is a smart and cooperative opportunity to put relevant consumer brands in front of the JMC audience before, during and after the event series.

Currently operating from a skeletal budget, the JMC audience has grown steadily, year after year, through passionate volunteerism, personal contributions of our leadership and small contributions from their immediate network.

With our proven track record for attracting the interest and participation of speakers and attendees from the United States, Canada, Europe and other parts of the Caribbean, the JMC will make a bigger impact with funding for stronger programming, more innovative production, more dynamic marketing tools and to offset logistical costs.

Monetary and in-kind services/product resources will expand your brand awareness and presence internationally, while creating the evolutionary growth of the overall JMC mission. To get involved, email us.
